Giampiero Pastore

Giampiero Pastore ( born May 7, 1976 in Salerno ) is an Italian saber fencer.

Achievements

Giampiero Pastore, he won the European Championship in 1998 in Plovdiv silver saber with the Italian team in 1999 at the European Championships in Bolzano, it was bronze. For his participation in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, he finished with the team to eighth place. 2002 Pastore won at the World Championships in Lisbon silver with the team, also at the 2002 European Championships in Moscow. 2003 won the team with him at the European Championships in Bourges silver. At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 Pastore was with the team silver, individual, he finished 22nd place. For his Olympic medal to him the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic was awarded.

In 2005 he won at the World Championships in Leipzig silver with the team at the 2007 World Championships in St. Petersburg took the team bronze. In 2008, the team erfocht at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing bronze. 2009 was his most successful year. He was born in Plovdiv team European champion and won bronze in the individual, at the World Championships in Antalya, he won a silver medal with the team. In 2011 he was again in Sheffield team European champion at the World Championships in Catania bronze with the team.
