Giancarlo Brusati

Giancarlo Brusati ( born March 6, 1910 in Milan, † 30 June 2001 Barlassina, Monza and Brianza Province ) was an Italian fencing athletes and sports official.

Life

Giancarlo Brusati 1931 Italian champion in épée fencing. He won with the sword still in 1931 and 1933 European Championships in fencing. In the 1936 Olympics he won in the men's epee fencing with the team the gold medal.

Brusati 1961 Vice- President of the Italian Association of the fencers and remained so until 1981. From 1981 to 1984 he was then president of the Fédération Internationale d' Escrime.
