Giancarlo Ferretti

Giancarlo Ferretti ( born August 9, 1941 in San Bernardino di Lugo ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Ferretti in 1963 was active as a professional in cycling. Until 1965 he drove for the team Legnano, in the following year for Sanson. Then he drove from 1967 to 1970 for Salvarani. Ferretti reached at the Tour de Berne in 1965 to third place, besides, he was at a stage of the Tour de Suisse 1966 second.

Ferretti finished his career in 1970. In 2000 he was head of the cycling team Fassa Bortolo, which in 2005 for financial reasons, retired from cycling.
