Gianluca Curci

Gianluca Curci (born 12 July 1985 in Rome) is an Italian football goalkeeper who is under contract with the Italian club AS Roma since July 2011.

Career

In the team's Giallorossi ( AS Roma ) Gianluca Curci spent his youth career. The 2004/05 season was his first year in the first team. He made his debut in the game AS Roma v Parma FC. In his youth club, he brought it to a total of 29 appearances in Serie A. From the 2008/ 09 season he played in the league rivals AC Siena. After he descended with the Tuscans at end of season 2009/10 to Serie B, Curci left the club. In July 2010 he signed a contract with Sampdoria. After the descent Sampdoria Curci joined as a replacement for the migrated to Liverpool Doni to his youth club Roma.

He played regularly in the U-21 National Team in Italy and has been repeatedly summoned for the Squadra Azzurra, but not used.
