Gianni Giacomini

Gianni Giacomini ( born August 18, 1958 in Cimadolmo, Treviso ) is an Italian former racing cyclist and World Champion.

In 1978, Gianni Giaocomini Military World Champion in the road race, the year after he won the world title at the UCI Road World Championships 1979 in Valkenburg, the Netherlands. In 1980, he finished with the Italian road four at the Olympic Games in Moscow ranked fifth and 18th in the individual road race. In 1981, he turned pro, but could not be established due to health problems. In 1983, he finished his career.
