Biography
The beginnings
Gianni Morandi was born on December 11, 1944 in Monghidoro (Emilia -Romagna). On April 15, 1962, he won the Festival di Ballaria and got a recording contract with the RCA Italiana. During the festival, he met Ivana know Borgia, who had also participated in this competition, and as Gianni Morandi scored a record deal with the RCA Italiana. It is the first fiancé of Gianni Morandi. In 1962 he had the hits Andavo a 100 all'ora, Go- Kart Twist and Donna as morire brought out with the RCA Italiana.
The breakthrough

On 8 November 2006, he released his book titled Diario di un ragazzo italiano, in which he recounts his life from childhood to his greatest successes towards its present life.
In the following years he released albums like Ancora Grazie a tutti and Canzoni da non perdere. He also participated in several music competitions yet, such as the Sanremo Festival 2008, part. In the same year he also opened the competition for the Miss Italia with two songs that he has sung there.
Gianni Morandi is also co-founder of the Associazione Nazionale Italiana Cantanti, the football team of the Italian singer, for which he has already completed more than 330 games for a good cause.
In 2011, he presented alongside Belen Rodriguez, Elisabetta Canalis and Luca e Paolo the Sanremo Festival. The moderation he took over in 2012, in cooperation with Rocco Papaleo and Ivana Mrázová.
