Gianni Puccini
Gianni Puccini ( born November 9, 1914 in Milan, † December 3, 1968 in Rome ) was an Italian film director and screenwriter.
Life
Puccini, son of writer Mario Puccini moved, for study purposes in the Italian capital and graduated with a degree in Lettere e Filosofia. He worked from 1938 as a critic in Bianco e Nero and Cinema; 43 he was also editor of the latter periodical. Since the early 1940s, he was also active as a screenwriter for over 30 productions of well-known directors. Frequently he worked with Giuseppe De Santis.
From 1951, he also himself with successful films directed by the public; the last time in 1967 when I sette fratelli Cervi drama.
His brother is the director Massimo Mida.
