Gianni Russo
Louis Giovanni " Gianni" Russo ( born December 12, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actor and singer of Italian origin.
Life
He grew up in Rosebank, Staten Iceland on (New York City, USA) and claimed he had connections to the Mafia and that his uncle was a member of the Gambino crime family.
There are claims that the Gambinos had the director Francis Ford Coppola persuaded to give Russo the role of Carlo Rizzi in the movie The Godfather, which he was then known in the film industry. In the second part of Coppola's The Godfather, he came for a short time before again in a flashback. After his roles in The Godfather got in over 50 different productions more roles.
In 1996 he wrote the screenplay for the film Revenge of the cartel. The year before, he was a screenwriter on the film PCH involved.
