Gibbston is a municipality in the Gibbston Valley, which part of the Wakatipu Basin in Queenstown- Lakes District Otago region is on the South Island of New Zealand. Through the valley of the Kawarau River, which forms the canyon Kawarau Gorge flows. Near the town is the Kawerau Bridge, was offered at the first time bungee jumping.
