Gibil

Gibil is in Sumerian mythology, the god of fire. Gibil was worshiped as the son of Anu and Ki, of Anu and Šala or işkur and Šala.

There is a syncretism to the Babylonian god Girra. The name Gibil is found in the Babylonian creation myth Enuma Eliš among the 50 names of Marduk.
