Giddha
Giddha ( Punjabi ਗਿੱਧਾ, Giddha ) is a folk dance that originated in Punjab, a region in northwestern India and Pakistan. It is danced by women, while men dance the Bhangra. The Giddha is often danced at weddings. The dance is often made without instruments. The women clap their hands or spoon beat each other to keep the rhythm, but sometimes are also small barrel drums ( dholak ) are used.
