Geographical location

The gable Rain is located in the district of Fulda, slightly southeast of the town of Fulda, on the western edge of the Rhön biosphere reserve. It rises in the Rhön Nature Reserve in the district and 2.5 km east of Dietershausen, a south-eastern part of the municipality of Kunzell.

Geology
