Gienger

The Gienger is a flight element on the horizontal bar or a backward somersault piked with half a longitudinal axis of rotation (LAD ) before the stretching rod. It's in the Code of Points (Code of Points ) as a C- section (No. 269 - or ) classified with a D value of 0.3 points. It was named after the German instrument Turner and Olympic medalist Eberhard Gienger. In the women's gymnastics Gienger presentation is performed on the uneven bars.
