Gierałtów

Gieraltów (formerly Gersdorf am Queis ) is a village in the rural community Nowogrodziec (Polish: gmina Nowogrodziec ) in the powiat Boleslawiecki, Lower Silesian Voivodeship (Polish WojewĂłdztwo Lower Silesia ) in southwestern Poland. Prior to 1945 it belonged to the district of Boleslawiec in the German Reich.

Gieraltów lies on the River Queis, about 6 kilometers west of Nowogrodziec (formerly Naumburg am Queis ), 20 kilometers west of Boleslawiec ( formerly Boleslawiec ) and 121 kilometers west of Breslau (now Wrocław).

The village has about 1,200 inhabitants.
