Gießenbach (Kieferbach)

The casting Bach is a stream in Germany. It rises in the headwaters Hirsch paints between the Little Unterberg and the Unterberger yoke and flows west of Kiefersfelden in the Klausbach. Below the Schopperalm he is dammed by a dam. By a pressure tube, most of the water to the lower-lying small power plant Gießenbach (built in 1910) is conducted. The remaining water raging through the 600 -meter-long casting gorge.
