Gilles Panizzi

Gilles Panizzi ( born September 19, 1965 in Roquebrune- Cap- Martin ) is a French rally driver.

Career

Panizzi ran from 1999 to 2003 for Peugeot, from 2004 to 2005 for Mitsubishi, 2006, he went as a private driver for Red Bull Škoda. His co - pilot was his brother Hervé. Panizzi was considered absolute tarmac specialist and was used mostly by the teams accordingly. In the team competition of the invitational tournament organized as ROC Nations ' Cup, he reached in 2000 together with his team-mate Régis Laconi and Yvan Muller the first place. In 2003 with Cristiano da Matta and Fonsi Nieto won Panizzi, this time in the All- Star team starting, the team event at the Race of Champions for a second time.
