Gillian Carleton

Gillian Carleton ( born December 3, 1989 in Scarborough ) is a Canadian cyclist.

2011 Gillian Carleton Canadian Vice - Champion was in the sprint. In the course of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2012 in London, she took together with Jasmin Glaesser and Tara Whitten second place in the team pursuit. In the UCI Track World Championships 2012 in Melbourne, the Canadian team was third in the same occupation.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Gillian Carleton won jointly with Tara Whitten and Jasmin Glaesser the bronze medal in the team pursuit. The following year, she won at the track world championships in Minsk together with Laura Brown and Jasmin Glaesser in the team pursuit third. When Canadian railway Competition Challenge International sur piste she won the 500 -meter time trial, the Omnium and the individual pursuit.

In December 2013 Gillian Carleton was elected to Canada's cyclist of the year.
