Gino Bianco
Gino Bianco ( born July 22, 1916 in Turin, † May 8, 1984 in Rio de Janeiro, actually Luigi Rodolfo Bertelli Emilia Bianco ) was an Italian racing driver.
Gino Bianco 1928 emigrated with his parents to Brazil, but remained an Italian citizen. He served an apprenticeship as a mechanic and began to take hold as in motorsport. There followed the first attempts as a driver, first at national hillclimb in Brazil, and later at the racetrack.
With the support of Eitel Cantoni and its Escuderia Bandeirantes he came 1952 to Europe and participated on a Maserati to four rounds of the world championship of Formula 1 He made his debut at the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone and reached rank 18 its only placement at a world run. As the successes forthcoming, he left after the Grand Prix of Italy Europe back towards Brazil and drove in the 1950s sporadically national races in various classes.
