Gionatha Spinesi

Gionatha Spinesi (born 9 March 1978 in Pisa, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer, he played at the position of a striker.

Career

Gionatha Spinesi began his career in his hometown at SC Pisa, shortly after, he moved to Inter Milan where he is not able to prevail. Therefore, he was loaned in the sequence to the SC Pisa and the ASD Castel di Sangro where he took his leave for the Serie A, which is why he moved to AS Bari for 1998/99 season. In Bari Spinesi played a total of six seasons in Serie A and B, before he moved to the 2004/05 season for AC Arezzo and thus returned to Tuscany. After a season in Arezzo in which he scored a total of 22 goals, Gionatha Spinesi moved to Sicily to Catania Calcio League rivals. Here he was at first team regular, scoring goals on a running basis (a total of 23 goals in 38 games ). Also, thanks to goals from Catania Spinesi rose at the end of the season after a long absence in the Serie A on. In the summer of 2009, his contract with Calcio Catania was not renewed and Spinesi was after several months without a club. Although the attacker had already agreed with the third division side AS Pescina Valle del Giovenco to a contract, he decided to end his career prematurely in October 2009.
