Giorgi Kekelidze

Giorgi Kekelidze (Georgian გიორგი კეკელიძე, also: Giorgi Kekelidze; born April 10, 1984 in Osurgeti ) is a Georgian poet and essayist. Winners of Georgian Literature premium Saba, founder and chief editor of the Internet Library lib.ge. Since 2012 he is General Director of Georgian National Library.

Life

Kekelidze completed in 2009 to study at the Faculty of Philology at Tbilisi State University. From 2006 to 2008 he worked in the prison of Rustavi as a teacher of Georgian language and literature. Since 2009 he has presented various literary-critical shipments to various radio stations. Since 2010 he is a literary columnist for the magazine "Tabula " and producer of the TV show " Red Zone". Editor of the Georgian journals " focus " and " Tbilisi OUT". He gives lectures on classical literature at the Free University of Tbilisi. He serves on the board of the Georgian PEN Club. Work
