Giorgi Kiknadze

Giorgi Kiknadse (Georgian გიორგი კიკნაძე; born April 26, 1976 in Tbilisi, FIFA spelling according to English transcription: Georgi Kiknadze ) is a retired Georgian football player and current football coach.

Kiknadse came at the age of 17 years the professional team of Dinamo Tbilisi and won with the club between 1994 and 1998 the championship five times in his country and four times the trophy. After one season at Torpedo Kutaisi defensive midfielder joined in the fall of 1999 to Samsunspor in Turkey. Here, however, not succeeded in gaining a foothold. He only graduated four games in the Turkish Süper Lig Even at its next station, SC Freiburg, he was unable to prevail. Although he stood at the Breisgauern between 2000 and 2003 under contract, he was not used in any competitive game in the first team. Kiknadse returned to Georgia, leaving his club career at Spartak Tbilisi Tbilisi and locomotive finish.

In the course of the season failed negotiations on a contract extension early so that Kiknadse left the club before the end of the championship. After a brief involvement with Torpedo Kutaisi he was head coach from 2007 Locomotive Tbilisi in April.

Kiknadse is an uncle of the soccer player Levan Qenia.
