Giorgio AlverÃ
Giorgio Alverà ( born August 7, 1943 in Belluno, † January 14, 2013 in Milan ) was an Italian bob pilot. His greatest success was winning the World Championship title at the Bob World Cup 1975 in Cervinia in the two- (together with Franco Perruquet ). He was a three time Italian champion in the two- and two-time Italian champion in the four-man event. As an Olympian in 1976, he finished in 8th place in the Innsbruck bobsleigh.
His final resting place will Alverà in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
