Giorgio Di Centa

Giorgio Di Centa ( born October 7, 1972 in Tolmezzo, Friuli ) is an Italian cross country skier.

Di Centa won at the 2005 World Championships in Oberstdorf silver in the 30 km pursuit race. His greatest successes he achieved at the Olympic Winter Games 2006., Where he won gold in the relay and gold 50 km free style. The gold medal for victory over 50 km was at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games presented to him by his sister Manuela, who is now a member of the IOC.

Giorgio Di Centa is ten years younger brother of Olympic gold medalist Manuela Di Centa.
