Giorgio Furlan ( born March 9, 1966 in Treviso, Italy ) is an Italian former professional cyclist.
Career
Furlan was the early 1990s, to the best cyclists in Italy. He won many prestigious classics like Milan-San Remo and Tirreno- Adriatico. He was Italian Champion in the road race and won the Tour de Suisse1992 with a lead of 31 seconds over his countryman Gianni Bugno. After his playing career, his name was always associated with doping.
