Giorgio Rocca

Giorgio Rocca ( ​​born August 6, 1975 in Chur ) is an Italian former Alpine skier. He grew up in Livigno ( Sondrio ) and still lives there today. His specialty was the slalom discipline.

Biography

He first attracted attention at the World Ski Championships 1999 in Vail, when he missed the podium in the slalom by only a few hundredths of a second, and went up to fourth place.

In the World Ski Championships 2003 in St. Moritz, he won behind Ivica Kostelic and Silvan Zurbriggen the bronze medal in the slalom.
