Giorgio Zampori

Giorgio Zampori ( born June 4, 1887 in Milan, † December 7, 1965 in Breno, Province of Brescia ) was an Italian gymnast and four -time Olympic champion.

He was a member of the Italian team, which from 1912 to 1924 won the gold medal in the team all-around at three successive Olympic Games.

1912 in Stockholm ended Zampori the individual all-around in 4th place behind three compatriots. The gold medal went to Alberto Braglia. At the Summer Olympics in Antwerp in 1920 he finally won the individual all-around. Four years later at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, he participated in all nine competitions in gymnastics. On parallel bars, he won the bronze medal.
