Giouvetsi

Giouvetsi (Greek γιουβέτσι ) is a popular dish in Greece, in which the meat is cooked together with the noodles in gravy in the oven. It is a variant of the popular in the cuisine of South Eastern Europe Djuvec or Güveç.

As meat usually lamb (leg ) is used, but also beef and veal is common. The meat is left when roasting a whole, as a side dish, the rice -shaped pasta, Kritharaki typical. These are often easily arranged and mitgegart the last 20-30 minutes about the meat.
