Giovanni Franzoni

Giovanni Battista Franzoni OSB ( born November 8, 1928 in Varna ) is a retired abbot of Saint Paul Outside the Walls and participants in the last two sessions of the Second Vatican Council.

Life

Giovanni Battista Franzoni joined the Congregation of the Benedictine and received on 25 January 1955, the ordination. He was elected on March 3, 1964 Abbot of Saint Paul Outside the Walls and on March 11 the same year, this choice was confirmed.

From his office, he resigned and Paul VI in 1971. secularized him in 1976.
