Giovanni Lodetti

Giovanni Lodetti ( born August 10, 1942 in Caselle Lurani ) is a retired Italian footballer.

Career

In the club

Lodetti began his career at AC Milan in 1961 as a 19 - year-old. He won with the Rossoneri in 1962 and 1968, the Italian championship in 1967 and the Italian Cup. Internationally, he won with AC Milan in 1963 and 1969, the European Champion Clubs 'Cup, the 1968 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 1969 World Cup. In 1970 he moved to Sampdoria for four years before he trailed off his career with the U.S. Foggia (two years) and Novara Calcio (two years).

In the National Team

International gave Giovanni Lodetti his debut for Italy in 1964. He participated in the 1966 World Cup in England in part and retired with the team in the group stage. In the 1968 European Championship on home soil he could with his team under Ferruccio Valcareggi win the European title.
