Giovanni Sercambi

Giovanni Sercambi (* 1348 in Lucca, † 1424 ) was an Italian writer and statesman.

Sercambi was born in Lucca, was a supporter of the ruling Gunigi family and served as a soldier and public official. He is best known for his work " amendment ". He also wrote the " Chronica delle cose di Lucca ", a history of his city from 1164 to 1423, and " monitoring ", a treatise on the origin.
