The Gitschen is a mountain summit in the Urner Alps. It is located in the Swiss canton of Uri, west of Seedorf on a trending north-east ridge of Uri Rotstock. Despite its relatively low altitude of 2,513 m above sea level. M. and low self-employment ( it protrudes only just 70 feet above the lowest point of the ridge ), he is still significantly above 2000 meters above the Reuss level.

From the north it is - along with Brunnistock, Uri Rotstock and streaks - visible above Lake Uri from afar.
