Giuliano Besson
Giuliano Besson ( born January 1, 1950 in Sauze d' Oulx ) is an Italian entrepreneur and former ski racer. He drove mainly downhill, but also launched in the giant slalom.
Biography
Besson took part in the 1971 World Cup. At the Olympic Winter Games Sapporo in 1972 he was in the downhill eleventh. The first World Cup points he brought on 15 March 1972, when seventh in the downhill on the Saslong in Val Gardena. He subsequently binned several times in the top ten. He scored his best result on January 26, 1974 in Kitzbühel, where he at the same time ended the Hahnenkamm race in second with Stefano Anzi. At the World Championships 1974 in St. Moritz, he drove to fifth place.
End of the season 1974/75 Besson resigned. In 1976 he founded in Turin with his teammate Stefano Anzi, the sportswear companies Anzi Besson.
