Giulio Campi

Giulio Campi (* 1500 in Cremona, † March 5, 1572 ) was an Italian painter.

The eldest son of Galeazzo Campi was 1522 pupils Giulio Romano, at that time in Mantua, learned of this except the painting also sculpture and architecture, but is not outstanding champion. Exceptionally well, is its high altar in 1527 in Sant Abondio to Cremona, Mary and the holy knights Celso and Nazaro, full colors of Venetian beauty; its murals, however, in Santa Margarita there are cold and spread. Campi died 1572.
