Giulio Donati

Giulio Donati (born 5 February 1990 in Pietrasanta) is an Italian football player. Since 2013, the right-back is the German first division club Bayer 04 Leverkusen under contract.

Career

Clubs

Donati is the son of a lifeguard from Forte dei Marmi and played in his youth for several years at AS Lucchese Libertas, before he moved to first division club Inter Milan as an 18- year-old in 2008. He initially played for the U-20 team of the club and was promoted to the first team in 2009. Since he had a hard time in this and in his first season came to no use, Donati 2010 was loaned for one year for U.S. Lecce, for whom he played 14 games in Serie A.
