Giuncaggio

Giuncaggio ( Corsican Ghjuncaghju ) is a municipality with a population of 59 (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Haute- Corse on the French island of Corsica. It belongs to the canton Bustanico.

Geography

Giuncaggio is located in the hills at an altitude of Castagniccia 610 meters above sea level in the east of Corsica, 54 km south-west of Bastia, the prefecture of the Haute -Corse, and six kilometers south of the Regional Natural Park of Corsica. The village overlooks the valley of Tavignano and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Pancheraccia, anti- anti and Pietra Serena. The municipality has an area of ​​16.15 square kilometers.
