Giuseppe Beghetto

Giuseppe Beghetto ( born October 8, 1939 in tombolo ) is a former Italian cyclist, Olympic gold medalist and three -time world champion.

1958 Giuseppe Beghetto was, who specialized in the short-term disciplines in track cycling, for the first time Italian champion in the sprint of the amateurs, the year after the third track sprint classic Grand Prix de Paris. 1960, at the Olympic Games in Rome, he was together with Sergio Bianchetto that his biggest competitor was at the national level, Olympic champion in tandem race. 1961 Beghetto won the Grand Prix de Paris, was vice-champion in the sprint and two-time Italian champion in the sprint and in tandem, again with Bianchetto.

Giuseppe Beghettos son Massimo is an Italian former professional football player who in 1997 won the Italian Cup with Vicenza Calcio and now works as a coach.
