Giuseppe Dossena

Giuseppe Dossena ( born May 2, 1958 in Milan, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer and current football coach.

Career

The midfielder Dossena played from 1979 to 1992 in Serie A. He began his career in 1976 at Torino, where he remained in the 1976/77 season without the use in Serie A and then moved to second division side AC Pistoiese. There was a commitment at AC Cesena and Dossena crossed the Bologna FC 1981 Torino Calcio, where he was appointed to the squad for the FIFA World Cup in Spain in 1982 Italian national team and where he became world champion. According to a 1987/88 season at Udinese Calcio, he came to UC Sampdoria, where he celebrated his greatest successes club at the end of his career. In 1989 and 1990 he reached the finals twice with Sampdoria in the European Cup Winners' Cup. 1989 lost his team against Barcelona. A year later she won against RSC Anderlecht. 2002 was followed by an appointment as national coach of the Albanian national team, where he remained about six months in office. Later he stood on the sidelines of the AS Lodigiani and was sports director at the SS Sambenedettese Calcio. In August 2010, he was introduced as coach of the Ethiopian record champion Saint- George SA. In September 2012, Dossena was discharged at St. George and replaced by the German coach Michael Krüger.
