Giuseppe Maria Buonaparte
Giuseppe Maria Buonaparte ( born May 31, 1713 Ajaccio, † December 13, 1763 ) was a Corsican politician and grandfather of the French Emperor Napoleon I.
Life
He was the son of Sebastiano Nicolo Buonaparte and Maria Anna Tusoli. 1749, he was the representative of the city of Ajaccio Corsican Council of Corte. 1741, he married in Ajaccio Maria Saveria Paravisini whose parents were Genoese nobleman. With her he had four children, Gertrude Maria Buonaparte, Sebastiano Buonaparte, Carlo Buonaparte and Marianna Buonaparte, but died early. After Maria died, married Giuseppe Maria Virginia Alata. The marriage remained childless.
