Giuseppe Molinari

Giuseppe Molinari ( born January 11, 1938 in Scoppito, L' Aquila Province, Italy) is an emeritus Archbishop of L' Aquila.

Life

After studying Catholic theology and philosophy he received on 29 June 1962, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On September 30, 1989, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Rieti. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of L' Aquila, Mario Peressin on 8 December of the same year; Co-consecrators were his predecessors in Rieti, Bishop Francesco Amadio, and the Archbishop of Fermo, Cleto Bellucci.

Molinari was appointed on 16 March 1996 Koadjutorerzbischof of L' Aquila. He was succeeded by Mario Peressin his resignation on June 6, 1998 as Archbishop of L' Aquila.

Pope Francis took on 8 June in 2013 on the grounds of age pre- mounted resignation.
