Giuseppe Pancaro (2005)

Giuseppe Pancaro ( born August 26, 1971 in Cosenza ) is a former Italian footballer, he played at the position of a defender.

Career

Pancaro began his professional career at Torino Calcio, came here but to no use in the A- range. For the 1991/92 season he moved on loan to Avezzano Calcio in the Serie C2.

In 1992, Pancaro first time in the Serie A Cagliari Calcio. In Sardinia, he stayed a total of five seasons before joining Lazio for season 1997 /98. Here he was straight into the starting eleven and in his first year with the Coppa Italia was the first title to be celebrated. In the following seasons Pancaro was in the starting eleven of the most successful Lazio selection of all time. So you won in the 1998/99 season the European Cup Winners' Cup and the Supercup. The following year they won the Italian Super Cup first, then the double with the second Scudetto in the history of Lazio and another triumph in the Coppa Italia. 2000, they won again the Italian Super Cup, but the most successful years were over, because in the meantime had left the club, many service providers.

Giuseppe Pancaro held Lazio loyalty and remained in Rome until he Demetrio Albertini in exchange for Milan's top club AC Milan moving in 2003 that had won in May of that year, the Champions League. After two years in Milan Giuseppe Pancaro joined the 2005/06 season for Premier League rivals Fiorentina. In Florence Pancaro was indeed used regularly, however the fall in the starting eleven He failed. The last season of his career, in 2006/ 07, he played for FC Turin.

For the Italian national team, he played on 28 April 1999 against Croatia (0-0 ) his first game. Overall, he played 19 games from 1999 to 2005 for Italy.
