The Givaudan SA, based in Vernier, Switzerland, is the world's largest manufacturer of flavors and fragrances. History

Givaudan was founded in 1895 in Zurich by Leon and Xavier Givaudan. 1898 the company moved to Geneva and established a factory in Vernier.
