Giyani

Giyani is a South African town in the municipality of Greater Giyani, Mopani District, Limpopo province, with 25,954 inhabitants ( 2011). She was also the capital of the former homelands Gazankulu.

The city is relatively young and was established by the South African apartheid government as the capital for Gazankulu. The city is mainly inhabited by Tsonga.
