Glas Javnosti

Glass javnosti ( Serbian Cyrillic Глас јавности, German translation: voice of the public ) is a national daily newspaper in Serbia.

The first edition appeared on 20 April 1998 under the name Novi Blic. The newspaper was founded by some journalists of the daily newspaper Blic, who wanted to escape so that the growing political influence of the Milošević government on the editorial board of the newspaper. After five editions under the name Novi Blic they had to change their name due to a court order. On 25 April 1998 the name was changed to glass javnosti. Originally javnosti glass was a former daily newspaper in Kragujevac, whose first edition was published on July 15, 1874.

The first editor in chief was Manojlo Vukotić, currently (2010) is Sonja Lakić.
