Glasflügel 304

HpH 304 is a series of gliders of the Czech glider manufacturer HpH Sailplanes derived from the glider glass leaf 304.

Versions

304CZ (-17 )

After taking over the 304 - shapes from the bankruptcy estate of glass wing glider the popular racing class aircraft was further built largely unchanged with 15 meter span from 1998 first.

Since 2000, the 304CZ has an optional attachable 15m winglets and with wing tip to 17.43 meters wingspan as 304CZ -17.

304C Wasp

A variant of the 304CZ without flaps for FAI standard class. The wing with winglets have 15 meter span and are equipped with Schempp- Hirth airbrakes instead of the trailing edge pivot brake flaps of the CZ. Since 2001, in the program.

304S Shark

Since 2006, built completely newly designed aircraft. Optimized for the FAI -18- m class. Optional with TBS 400N jet engine as sustainer available (304 SJ) or with engine Binder Solo 2625-01 as self starter (304 MS).

The Shark HpH 304S comes standard with flaperons, water tanks for storing water ballast (180 liters), three-storey Schempp- Hirth air brakes and an elliptical design of the wing tips and the horizontal stabilizer ( to reduce resistance d ).
