Glen Ellen is a place ( " Census Designated Place " ) in Sonoma County, California, United States.

It is the seat of numerous, prestigious wineries. It lies on the CA 12 between Santa Rosa and Sonoma. At the 2000 census he counted 992 inhabitants.

In the city the famous writer Jack London, whose house was burnt down in 1913 lived. At Glen Ellen is also the Jack London State Historic Park.
