Glen Rice

Glen Anthony Rice ( born May 28, 1967 in Flint, Michigan, United States ) is a former American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The 2.01 meter tall Rice played the position of small forward and is available with 1559 transformed three-point throws in eleventh place of the three-point shooters in the NBA history. In the season 1999/ 00 he won the NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers. After his first year as a pro, he was appointed to the NBA All- Rookie Second Team. From 1996-1998, he was then elected three times consecutively in the All- Star team in the NBA and was MVP of the 1997 All-Star Games. Also on Rice College was able to win a championship: In 1989, he led the University of Michigan for the national title and was judged to be the best player in the NCAA tournament.
