Glen Rose is a small city in Somervell County, Texas. It was founded in 1889 and currently has approximately 2,120 inhabitants. She is also the administrative center of the county. Attractions include the Institute and the College.

West of the town of Dinosaur Valley State Park is a prehistoric passage sealing of Acrocanthosaurus and Apatosaurus.
