Glénac

Glénac ( Glenneg Breton ) is a commune with 882 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region.

Geography

Glénac located on the banks of the Oust, near the mouth of the river Aff. The estuary of the Aff is a moorland landscape, in which a wonderful wetland habitat has developed. The Canal de Nantes à Brest, which essentially follows the Oust, extends approximately one kilometer away from Glénac. The river is navigable by Aff sports and houseboats to La Gacilly. In Glénac is a charter basis for houseboats.
