The Glenelg Highway is a highway in the south west of the Australian state of Victoria and the South East of South Australia. He joins the Princes Highway in Murrawa, east of Mount Gambier, with the Midland Highway in Ballarat. The largest part of the highway is located in Victoria, only a 15 km long stretch east of Mount Gambier extends over the territory of South Australia. In some maps, this section is called Casterton Road.

Course

7 km east of the center of Mount Gambier branches off the Casterton Road from the Princes Highway (A1 ) to the northeast crossing ab.und west of Ardno the border into Victoria. From Casterton, where it crosses the then eponymous Glenelg River, it performs as Glenelg Highway at first a bit to the northeast, turning later to the southeast.

At Hamilton, he crosses the Henty Highway ( A200 ) and the Hamilton Highway ( B140 ) branches off to the southeast, while the Glenelg Highway moves on to the east. In the southern part of Ballarat he reached the Midland Highway ( A300 ) and ends.
