Glenn C. Altschuler

Glenn C. Altschuler ( born 1950 ) is an American historian and cultural theorist.

He studied at Cornell University (MA 1973, Ph.D. 1976) and also teaches since 1981. Since 1998 he has held the chair of the Department of American Studies, he is since 1991 in Cornell as dean of the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions for the coordination of the " summer University " and other offerings for University Continuing responsible.

His research interests lie in American popular culture.
